COVID-19 is a cause for concern worldwide and now in Houston, Texas. The potential impact of the COVID-19 on all events in and around our lives is currently at the top of everyone’s minds.
It is important to Houston BOMA that we balance the benefits of presenting meetings, seminars and social programs with the need to protect the health of members and others we serve. Due to recent event cancellations and the news of Houston area community spread case, Houston BOMA will be rescheduling all scheduled events.
We want to avoid unnecessary alarm, but while we believe it is unlikely that someone might contract the virus from attending a Houston BOMA event, we don’t want anyone to be exposed to the virus because they attended a function.
If you are currently registered for one of these events, Houston BOMA will be reaching out with more information as we confirm new event dates.
We will continue to monitor and track information and guidance from the CDC and World Health Organization, Harris County and City of Houston officials, and the Houston Health Department and keep you current with any further potential impact on the organization.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the BOMA Office at (713) 266-5691.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our membership safe.
