Eugene Barbles Lifetime Achievement Award
The Eugene Barbles Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual and honors years of dedicated service to Houston BOMA. It may be awarded to a Houston BOMA member who has been active within the local association for at least ten years and who has tirelessly given their time in service to Houston BOMA and the profession of property management.
The award will be considered annually by the Awards Committee, but is not required to be awarded on an annual basis.
A nominee should have demonstrated one or more of the following:
- A consistent history of contribution to Houston BOMA (an entire body of work, not just a single achievement) over and above the call of duty throughout their career.
- Contributions that have resulted in the advancement of Houston BOMA and/or the profession of property management.
- Made a significant impact on profession of property management.
Areas that will be considered in the selection of an award winner are:
The scope of significant contributions to Houston BOMA or the profession of property management as a whole.
Consistent contributions to Houston BOMA and/or the profession of property management, not solely in performing job functions, but over and above the expected call of duty.
Contributions have been of truly high quality and have enhanced the practice of property management.
The achievements of the individual throughout their career.
The impact of achievements and their ongoing legacy to the profession of property management.
